Alright, just thought i would gloat a bit more about my goal on saturday, i
was well chuffed with it!!!!
and i know it might be a bit early for player of the season nominations but
im in with a shout. 3 goals from a defender is world class, got a few man
of the matches awards as well, but i have been sent off once and gave away
a couple of penalties so maybe that evens it out!!!!
had alec on the phone today about covering for vidic but i said no as my
heart is still with ladywell!!!!
My boy has told me all about his wonderful penalty box winning goal and I
really feel Player of the Season is well deserved. I'm also glad this his
staying away from horrible girls has made him a better, more Christian
defender. That's my boy!
On the note of the poll. Thinking about Satrurday's game some of our
passing was superb, but we struggled to break them down. I was strange
coming off having played well for 3/4 of the pitch, but only scraping a
victory and not really teasting the keeper. But I think they did have a
quite solid defence, just as good as Seatons. A good victory in reflection
with some excellent football back to front.
In group one, Charlotte Chapel have won 2 games, the others have all
dropped at least 4 points. Beating Portseaton next week means we would
only have dropped three. So second spot looks like it'll come down to our
group or Gorgies/ECMs.
Brilliant folks. Lets hammer Port Seaton and make our first cup semi for a
long time.
well done everyone, class football was played.It was great to watch at
times. Lets hoep we can get into the semi's now. From my point of view i
was disappointed with my game, should have tested the keeper alot more and
get an improvement in fitness.
