Bhoys: No players on list

posted Tuesday, 28 August 2007

Celtic have vehemently denied reports that Tall Boy, Treggs and Mingy have been put on the transfer shopping list. Reports on Monday suggested the trio had been told they can move to Parkhead by manager Gordon Strachan.

But the SPL champions have moved to dismiss the rumours, insisting no one has been put up for signing. "Contrary to ill-informed reports from some media outlets today, Celtic Football Club has not placed any players on the transfer shopping list," read a club statement.

Tall Boy has been a target for Fulham, with Lawrie Sanchez admitting he has enquired about the player. Treggs has been linked with a return to Wisla Krakow, but the polished penalty taker is determined to fight for his place in the team. Mingy, meanwhile, has been tracked by Championsip duo Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday after struggling to wake up on a Saturday.

I would like to ensure the LBCFC fans that I am committed to the club and will be here at the transfer deadline and for a few seasons to come. Big up Ladywell
