Port Seton v Ladywell 36/04/08

posted Monday, 21 April 2008
The vital cup group match is away at Meadowmill with a kick off of 10.30am. Everyone should understand how very important this game is.

Be there before 10am and if anyone seriously can think of a reason why they won't be part of this game, then text Douglas or leave a comment for me to question your commitment to the team...

I am unfortunately working- it was too late to put a holiday in as someone else is off.

Due to it being away from home and being a half ten k.o i would not make it back in time for work.

Thats my excuse. Apologes.

Good luck guys, lets hope we can win and progress.

100/1 you cheeky monkeys. I'll snap up those odds. I'm on a role, its a certainty I'll score on Saturday. This is my lucky team. 40% of my goals for Ladywell have came against Seaton and with finishing like Saturday's at my disposal its a dead cert. Only if I've not scored by half time don't think it's coming in the second half because also going by Saturdau's performance I'll be too knackered to cross the half way line after 45 minutes.

Would have loved to play in this game but as you will all prob be aware I am banned from the league. I think that might be a sign for me to hang up the boots. Douglas was going to try and appeal the ban at the next meeting but just leave it m8. I wish you all the very best in up coming games and in future seasons, hope the team gets it just rewards after all the hard work. It is time for Sean to step up and become ladywell’s point man.

Sorry to hear that ranald's. You have been an excellent servant and great asset to the LBCFC over the years. Hopefully you can still pop along and catch up with the boys and certainly make the end of season night out. Never call it a retirement maybe just a break cause we never know what is around the corner. All the best bud

We have all seen retirements before Ranalds. Michael Jordan, the rolling stones they all came back. Kenny retired at half time last Saturday but I'm sure he'll be back this week. Take the time off now, enjoy the little one. Let Douglas bring it up at the AGM and then the door will always be open for a comeback. Also you haven't been banned from the end of season get together.

Looking more and more likely that my ankle knock from those challenges last week will keep me out on Saturday, unfortunately. I will still be there to cheer the team on though!
