Ladywell v P's & G's (Last Game of the Season)

posted Tuesday, 6 May 2008
Game is a 10:30 start at Craigswood this week. Everyone should be in attendance and all outstanding subs paid to Tich.

Anyone unable to make it should text Douglas or leave a comment.

Any last game suggestions for the poll this week? I've kinda run out of ideas...

Outstanding subs!!!

Assuming this means what I think it is I am outraged, I have only managed to play four games this season due to injury and illness and I paid my twenty pound so if some people still haven't done so why should I bother next season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe as well as introducing the policy of having to train before you play, we should consider putting the people who don't pay their dues even further down the list.

No, over the past few weeks it has been a few weekly pounds here and there for some players. We all go through periods of being skint. Except Deano, he's minted...

Minted?? Do you know how much hair products, manicures, nasal hair trimming and trips to lap dancers cost these days...a lot!

Looking forward to watching the final game of the season, hopefully finish on a high. Stato was informing me that we have not been beaten by Ps&Gs for 9 games! Let's not ruin this impressive statistic.

All £20 subs have been paid in advance, thanks very much to all who contributed and no-one is due to pay 2 weeks or a few pound here and there. i should have about £30 as a balance after saturdays game which will go towards the team night out and if my memory serves me correctly we have about £330 as a balance in the bank account, and i dont think we should be buying new strips this year as we dont need them, so maybe some more footballs, a football bag, bibs for training and maybe some other equipment for training, but if you have any ideas let me know (AND THE MONEY CANT GO TOWARDS THE PAYING OF GIRLS FROM THE LEISURE INDUSTRY) And Muz if you do return next year you can have free weeks until you have paid up to the £20, thats if you can last more than 4 games this year!!!!!!! wishing you all the best for the remainder of the week THE BANKER!!!!!

My apologies, obviously got the wrong end of the stick. I will hopefully be back next year but despite your generous offer Titch, I won't be requiring any free weeks.

What is the script for pre-season, any training going to be happening, if so, where and on what nights?

I think we should start some sort of pre-season next week, either at howden park or at bellsquarry where there is a goal so we can practice our shooting (Because we really need to) Or we could meet up 3 nights a week and train for 3 hours at a time, running, sprinting, shuttle runs, hill runs, all sorts of runs and then a wee bit of ball work at the end!!!! maybe we could discuss it more this saturday.

Hi boys - Feels like forever.. I am looking forward to the game. Bit gutted the season is over and we have no silver ware, but there is next year. I could get us a few friendlys towards the end of the summer for pre season, so we are bang on it for the start of next year.. Just let me know. Been emotional, see you Saturday.

Not sure on the exact date for Kushi's but it is very good and we'll just have to arrange it around Deanos manicure schedule. I'm all for plenty of friendlies because as a team we hate training and don't do enough and the games will help us.

I'm sure you all think that I will be taking Diesel to the night out. In actual fact I will be taking milkshake, on account of the fact my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and dam right it's better than yours.

Ah young men on a night out canny beat it.
