Ranaldi....is there any chance i could get a lift through to the game on
sat with you, my road knowledge breaks down outside west lothian and iv not
a clue where to go. Cheers
Lets give this team a good hammering on saturday to make up for the 1st
time we played them and for being frightend of a few puddles on the pitch
when we should have played them the last time!
Lift will be no probs grant, just give me your phone number and i will give
you a call to arrange. Cheers
Good luck tomorrow guys, please text me the score afterwards as i'll
probably be on a beach in Spain by then.
Lets kick Abbeyhill's butt and set up a showdown with the Seaton

It didnt have an 8 at the end of it the last time i was in the toilets. It
just rings out when you phone it anyway.
I dont want to feel like this again boys !! worst feeling on a Saturday and
it ruins the wkend.. We are a better team than that !
Lets leave all the sh*t behind and get a grip !! I apologize for givin up a

xxx
Does anyone think after watching the Man Utd v Liverpool game that we might
be the Liverpool of the church league?
great team but argue with the ref too much and lose focus?
it was a sad day, as kenny said we are a much better team than that lot,Im
quite pi**ed off the fact i could have scored a barrell load when i came
on, but i seemed to have my phillip sebo boots on and nothing was going in.
Lets keep the heads up and forget about it all and get back to winning
ways.
Has anyone considered the fact that we might not be good enough and have
aspirations that don't take into account limitations. There's only so many
times we can blame Referee's, dodgy pitches, or "losing focus". The fact
remains we've lost points where we shouldn't have this season and lost to
teams we should be beating. Maybe we're not as good as we think we are? Not
the most flattering comments here I agree but maybe this will hammer home a
few truths and have us take a look at ourselves.
I have to agree with honesty, i don't want to play for a team though that
manhandles the ref and shouts such abuse from the side of the park. Felt
completely embarassed having to apologise after the game to a young ref who
i still feel did nothing wrong. He called at as he saw it. We are not
Bethany. We are not Leith.
I simply cannot agree that we are not good enough. The team as a whole can,
and does, regularly compete with all the teams in the league.
However, consistency can be a problem, as is our tendency to argue amongst
ourselves (which has been the case as long as I have been with Ladywell).
And at times we seem to be playing within ourselves (like against the
'lesser' teams that we think we should beat) and playing for ourselves,
going for our own glory instead of looking to a team mate in a better
position.
When we band together, and play for each other, we can beat ANY
team in the league.
I do think we need a Striker as a final piece of the proverbial jigsaw, as
the rest of the team can usually dominate games on their day. And as much
as I am trying my damnest to get as fit as I can, I am not exactly the best
footballer!
Oh, also (as if I have not said enough), on the point of the embarrassment
of Saturday, I have always said to people that as much as I am not very
good and do not expect to start or even play each week, the reason I turn
up is we are such a great bunch of guys. We play the game because we love
it, as much as wanting to win.
Well our first major fall from grace. It was a very sad day and left the
majority if not all of us feeling majorly embarrassed. We will lose games
and yes we fail to play to our potential on far too many occasions but up
until Saturday it was always fun. Still the important thing is to learn
from Saturday and make sure there is no repeat. Sure we all get frustrated
and can question decisions but not to the extent of Saturday's shambles.
Hi, understandably the focus is on the teams discipline (or lack of) on
Saturday morning, and judging by the comments it looks as if people are
right to make issue of it and look for solutions/remedies.
Damn, sounds like you guys had exactly the kind of game I love on Saturday,
don't know the full story but sure if there, myself and Paul Robinson could
have picked up a red card each :-) I am loving how passionate everyone is
sounding for the Ladywell cause, hopefully I will be back for the start of
next season fit and ready for a title push!!
With response to seans comment, i feel the same. Ever since i was brought
along to the team i have loved it, the banter, kick about and the fact you
are all a great bunch of guys. The feeling of being part of a team is
great.
Ive tried to give 100% every game, i could be a lot lot sharper i
must admitt and im working on it, im finding playing 11s tough not only on
my fitness but the game in general, trying to cut out the mistakes and take
my chances too . But untill i get to that stage i will try my hardest to
play to the best of my ability and help the team.
Liverpool still have a chance in the leauge !!! c'omon the mighty reds!!!
...and more people need to start training regularly on Tuesdays. Deano
would give his right leg for your right achilles tendon just now...
Well what can I say. After reading all these comments I agree with some
but not all. Yeah I lost the place a bit on Saturday but it was three
shocking decisions I lost it at. Ranaldi getting taken down for a clear
penalty (did anyone see the player touch any of the ball?) Abbeyhill second
the guy was three yards offside and Abbeyhill goal four the guy was
standing behind Barry when he was passed the ball. Whilst I do not agree
with Ranaldi's actions I can understand (to a certain extent) his
frustration. As for calling us Bethany or Leith we have never punched or
headbutted any other team. We are a generally fair team and the week
before it was commentted we were a pleasure to play against. what went on,
on Saturday was a blip
in an otherwise pretty clean reputation.
Lets put last week behind us guys, a few folk that cant play this weekend
so lets put in a good team performance and show what we can do.
Aye Tregs ill be playing, (if selected) the leg was a wee bt tight for a
few days but will strap it up and will be fine.
